Summer Gathering 17 No.1 March 28 2017

Girl Gathering Summer of 2017
A few Sundays ago I created some beautiful florals for
another fabulous Gather Girl event
Once again, the gorgeous Hayley bought together some beautiful kindred woman to spend a simply beautiful afternoon creating art with the talented
Hayley then taught some delishious nourishing ideas for sharing
The weather could not have been more perfect as we gathered in an abundant garden setting in Atawhai, underneath the gables of the trees on sumptious turkish rugs and cushions with pallet tables laden with Hayleys amazing food.
We sipped on wine and feasted, giggled, shared and were adorned with a forest hair circlet that made you feel like a goddess of nature.
The Gathering Table
'The collision of senses at the table is unparalleled. A truly great gathering can consume you. It can lift you up. Soft linen & glass carafes. A red wine stain. The crunch of greens. Acid. Salt. Water. Wine. Girly Cocktails. A splash of floral cordial. The stranger at the table next to you that becomes your new best friend. The soul-nourishing delight that comes from celebrating femininity. It’s a symphony, the dinner table. It demands that you be present'

It’s an art if you let it be.

KINFOLK FLOWERPOWER - Moutere Artisans October 17 2016

I can't believe that spring has finally arrived and I haven't been updating my flower escapades on the blog. I've been so busy and slightly obsessed I think with the INSTA moments, more than the written word of late!! I am a poet's daughter and should really put some pencil and paper together more often!! Xx

Together with my gorgeous inspirational friend Hayley - from GatherGirl we hosted a beautiful event at the Old Post Office in the Moutere, close to Nelson in their beautiful gallery & garden.

We styled and set the scene for a collection of Autumn gorgeous goddesses who came together for an afternoon of kinfolk creation of a keepsake wreath & learnt how to make a delishi-moo wholesome cake.

As the afternoon came to nigh we sat in the dusky autumnal sun drinking some Harakeke Farm Vinyard Rose and eating cake with loads of love and laughter.

I couldn't believe what all the ladies created and felt so blessed and proud that everyone loved their creations.

I think some more workshops are an ABSOLUTE MUST, sharing my love of nature and design is such a pleasure and see others ignite their creativity is just soooo awesome.

Enjoy the video and the photos, and don't forget to see all the green springing into life around us.

Feast Local December 02 2015

A few weeks ago I  created and styled an event with the talented sister - International food writter and blogger Nicola Galloway and her sister Ana Galloway Photography.

This event was the first of many to come and called 'Feast Local'

It was an event that filled the senses, from the stunning grounds at Nelson's beautiful Fairfield House surrounded in late spring blooms.

I even did a demonstration from a fresh forage around the beauiful homestead.

I hope the images speak fore themselves. The food, the wine, everything ~ was simply beautiful!!!

Take a look at the girls above for more inspiration and beauty and tantalising tastebuds nomnoms

Laura & Charlie Wed...

A story of true friendship and love, I even got an invite to share in their special vows and shed a few tears while feeling my belief in fateful love. Fairfield House is truly a magical place to wed, enchanting and it's where Laura & Charlie first meet- so the extra serendipidty moments added more wonder to the wedding.
